Alice and Rick recently spoke before Professor Michael Oswalt’s new Worker’s Compensation class at the College of Law at Northern Illinois University, on topics from the standpoint of representing petitioners (injured workers) before the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Commission. This course is a new offering in the curriculum at the law school and we were excited to participate to help in the process of training new lawyers in the field. Professor Oswalt has scheduled our esteemed colleague from the employer’s side, Shawn Biery, as well as retired arbitrator Jacqueline Kinnaman, to speak before his class later in the semester.
